- Food waste can be collected from Restaurants – Food waste from this form of eating establishment can be very varied depending if the produce is delivered pre-prepared or the food preparation is done within the kitchen area under the guidance of the head chef. There will always be plate scrapings at the end of any meal even at the very top restaurants and this can be collected by Eco Food Recycling and recycled at our chosen disposal site.
- Food waste can be collected from Pubs – This is one area that is still expanding in a very difficult economic climate and food waste is in abundance as we are fully aware as we are currently collecting from one of the largest pub chains in the UK.
- Food waste can be collected from Hospitals – In every hospital across the land there is a captive audience for food although a lot of the patients do not fell “well enough” for a full and healthy meal resulting in food waste at the end of the day. Because of the vast amount of patients at some hospitals the food preparation area’s are huge and certain NHS Hospitals are obliged to hit certain recycling targets and reduce waste to landfill. Private Hospitals also produce large volumes of food waste and zero waste to landfill can be achieved in this waste stream by having it collected by Eco Food Recycling on their collection rounds.
